Casey Hate Dishes


Here's some homework for portrait drawing class... I'm thinking of adding text to it: "ME HATE DISHES" on the left (top to bottom; ME, fork, HATES, spoon, DISHES) in white. Let me know what you think.

i'm not sure how i feel about text, although... without it it just sort of seems like you're a)projectile vomiting dishes, which is impressive or b)shouting to the world some verse that has taken metaphorical form as dishes, that isn't necessarily about hatred

speaking of metaphor... maybe this version of you is telling us about a rocky period between the dish and the spoon, during which the fork somehow interferes/venes. all of these things are possible at first glance!

sorry-- i just realized, another thing this drawing evokes: you know in the disney little mermaid when ursula coaxes ariel's voice out of her larynx? uh huh? do you see where i'm going with this?
