Casey Hate Dishes

Here's some homework for portrait drawing class... I'm thinking of adding text to it: "ME HATE DISHES" on the left (top to bottom; ME, fork, HATES, spoon, DISHES) in white. Let me know what you think.

In the Dispatch

For those that missed it, I was in the Dispatch. It was pretty neat. I bought some extra copies for the parents.

Here's the piece that they picked to put in. It's Hugh Laurie as Dr. House from the hit show on Fox as done in Adobe Illustrator.

Evil Pat

Here's an older one for you that never made it into a final project. The idea was to have Pat Robertson as a superhero that thought he was doing good, but was really evil. Just like in real life.

Angry Fish

Here is a marker and colored pencil comp of an angry fish. I forget what kind of fish it is, but it attacks its own reflection.

Green Painted Portrait

My first oil painting in about two years. The picture quality isn't amazing.

Yoshimi

I don't know if you are aware, but Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots will be a real musical penned by Aaron Sorkin (West Wing, Sports Night) featuring music from The Flaming Lips and produced by Des McAnuff (The Who's Tommy). This is real sketch and a fake poster for a real play.

The Paper on My Desk

Taped down to my desk there is always a sheet of paper or bristol board that I also use for a mousepad. As you can see, I make notes, doodle, sketch, etc. on the paper. I especially like the Mario with the crus-tache and the zombie looking thing. This is the most recent one.

Portrait Sketch

This one was from earlier this semester. A quick one.

Welcome to my sketchbook.

I draw relentlessly, so I'm going to try to post as much as I can. I'll even throw in some finsished stuff too.
