Witch Doodle

Here was a scrap sketch from the Hansel and Gretel witch drawings. I really liked the sketch, so I thought I'd do a little digital painting over it. I put less than two hours into it.



as you can see, I changed up the nose a bit because it just wasn't working logically.

In Progress Figure Painting

Here's a figure painting that I'm working on in my figure painting class. we've got two more sessions on it. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.

As Promised

Here's Hansel and Gretel, the look is really starting to come together for these characters. As always, click to see it larger. Funny thing is, I really hate making cut paper in real life, but making the look (or something like it) digitally is fun.

Class Notes

Balancing three days of classes, four days of work and all of those nights of homework is cutting into time that I get to update my sketchbook. Luckily, I get lots of time to do some off the top of my head sketches during my Lit class. Here is today's page.
